Folium is an original Latin word meaning ‘leaf’.

Over time, the word has also taken on many different uses in mathematics and science.

Folium Organic produces, sources and trades certified organic essential oils and minimal intervention oils from local farmers for national and international markets.

​

We have spent 10 years researching aromatics and engaging with local farmers in Spain to learn the production and distillation process for organic essence oils.

Four years ago, we decided to start our own production and to obtain ecological certification for essential oil production and distillation.

Our fields for lavandin and lavender production are located in the north of Spain,
and we have offices in Leon and Barcelona.
